Eine verspielte und sicher bediente Gitarre trifft hier auf<br \/>\npsychedelische Bassl\u00e4ufe und ungemein kraftvolle Drums. Fischerlehner spielte schon in so<br \/>\nvielen Formationen Schlagzeug, dass es schwierig ist, den \u00dcberblick zu<br \/>\nbehalten.<\/p>\n<p>Seit ein paar Jahren treten die beiden zusammen als La Tourette auf, und<br \/>\nwer sie mal gesehen hat, wird das nicht so schnell vergessen: Die auf ihr<br \/>\nKlavier h\u00e4mmernde und dabei umwerfend singende Tonia und den<br \/>\nhochkonzentrierten Herrn Fischerlehner \u0096 &#8222;high energetic&#8220; indeed. Jetzt<br \/>\ngibt es ihr erstes gemeinsames Album &#8222;The Great Mickey Mouse Swindle&#8220;<br \/>\n(solaris empire), das vor rasanten Tempowechseln und Stilbr\u00fcchen nur so<br \/>\nstrotzt: R\u00e4tselhafte Titel wie &#8222;Entblindung&#8220; treffen auf ein wildes<br \/>\nKonglomerat aus Rock\u0092n\u0092Roll, Jazz und Flamenco-Gitarren, manchmal alles in<br \/>\neinem St\u00fcck. Manche finden La Tourette anstrengend, und ja, das sind sie:<br \/>\nFordernd, dr\u00e4ngend, ungeduldig. Also dringend n\u00f6tig im hiesigen<br \/>\nWischiwaschi-Wellness-Pop. Breitspurige B\u00e4sse, Gitarren im Delay gefangen, sanfte<br \/>\nElectronica, fein gesponnene Beats und nach vorn polternde Drumkits.<br \/>\nGelegentlich alles in einem einzigen Track vermischt. \u00dcber allem schwebt<br \/>\nein Hauch von Post Rock.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Aus dem Urschaum von Improvrock und Synthiepop sch\u00e4len sich gleich zwei<br \/>\nBerliner G\u00f6ttinnen des leidenschaftlichen Krachs: Jana Sotzko und Theresa<br \/>\nStroetges, letztere auch bekannt als Golden Disk\u00f3 Ship, erstere von der<br \/>\nBand the Dropout Patrol. Using<br \/>\nsmallest available means they aim at maximizing expressive power. In the<br \/>\ncourse of collective work their compositions feed a musical dialogue in<br \/>\norder to rescue the human element in them. Sometimes it is sweat and tears<br \/>\nthat prevail and sometimes it is the thought and moderation.<\/p>\n<p>Although Wroclawian duo uses typical rock instruments and sound, they<br \/>\navoid referring to typical rock or post-rock structures; instead, guitars<br \/>\nand drums as tools of composition owe a lot to syncretic Rock in<br \/>\nOpposition scene, funk-hitting no wave, and post-punk that wished to turn<br \/>\nits own limitations into unlimited space.
